Joe Eudy

Mr. Eudy is President of Impact Safety. He devotes most of his time to working on-site with manufacturing companies. He has a passion for helping companies with Safety.

SAFETY SERVICES Joe provides comprehensive safety programs that include training, mock OSHA audits, sound level measurement, written lockout/tagout procedures and customized company safety manuals. He conducts certification programs for powered industrial truck operators, as well as offers a Train The Trainer course. Mr. Eudy also teaches OSHA 10 & 30 hour certification courses and conducts the 5 hr HSI First-Aid / CPR /AED certification course for  first-responder teams

SAFETY EXPERIENCE Prior to starting Impact Safety, Mr. Eudy was Regulatory Manager for the Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica. He has been safety leader at multiple companies. Through his company each year, he spends 100 days in the field, teaching over 200 safety classes, providing over 40 safety audits, documenting sound levels for 10 facilities, creating 18 customized safety manuals, writing lockout / tagout procedures for over 150 machine centers, and conducting 12 forklift certification programs a year. Joe is an experienced safety manager,and keeps his OSHA 501 update training current (to remain OSHA authorized as an instructor for the OSHA 10 & 30 hr courses for general industry).  Joe conducts the 5 hour certification course on First-Aid/ CPR / AED under the Health & Safety Institute umbrella and is active in the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Mr. Eudy has worked for manufacturing companies for 20 years and has learned what approaches work best. He has held numerous positions of responsibility including plant manager, production manager, Engineer, trainer, safety manager and quality manager for printing and pulp & paper companies. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, is an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality & Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE), Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and has served on the board of examiners for the Texas Award for Performance Excellence. Joe is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor, and a Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO for General Industry) through the OSHA Training Institute Southwest Training Center, and a Certified Instructor for the 5 hour HSI First-Aid CPR/AED course.
