I believe every printing company deserves a clear path to a safer workplace.
Over the past 20+ years, I've found that most companies don't fall short on safety because they don't care. They fall short because they've never experienced what an effective, practical safety program looks like.
Some companies discover that they have significant gaps in safety, only after an OSHA inspection or a serious injury.
Companies may hesitate to seek outside help with safety for various reasons. Maybe they feel they should figure out things themselves, or maybe they worry about losing control, or about an outsider wanting to drive changes faster than their organization can comfortably absorb.
My vision is different.
I envision printing companies making steady small improvements to their safety program month after month. Leaders understand their responsibilities, employees receive meaningful training, safety concerns from the shop floor are addressed promptly, and serious workplace injuries become the rare exception. Companies know where they are OSHA compliant and they have a hit list of improvements needed to improve compliance.
Why does that matter?
Effective safety programs build trust. Employees feel valued. Managers gain confidence. Companies become stronger, more professional, and better prepared for the future.
This world has been my goal since founding Impact Safety:
Helping printing companies build practical safety programs—that employees are proud to participate in.
If that's the kind of safety experience you want for your company, I'd be honored to help you build it.
