Joe Eudy
| Mr. Eudy is President of Impact Safety & Impact Quality. He devotes most of his time to working on-site with manufacturing companies. He has a passion for helping companies with Safety and Quality Improvement. SAFETY SERVICES Joe provides comprehensive safety programs that include training, mock OSHA audits, sound level measurement, written lockout/tagout procedures and customized company safety manuals. Mr. Eudy also teaches an OSHA 10 & 30 hour certification courses for those involved in safety leadership. QUALITY SERVICES Having served as a staff quality consultant and trainer for a Fortune 30 company, Joe understands that there is no sure-fire "one size fits all" approach to Quality Management. Joe works with management teams to tailor a "path of discovery" helping them decide on direction and approaches. Joe especially likes to help small companies that are just beginning a serious journey to excellence. SAFETY EXPERIENCE Prior to forming Star Impact, Mr. Eudy was Regulatory Manager for the Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica. Each year he spent over 100 days in the field, teaching over 200 safety classes, providing over 60 safety audits, documenting sound levels for over 20 facilities, creating 20 customized safety manuals, writing lockout / tagout procedures for over 300 machine centers, and helping clients with environmental issues. Joe is an experienced safety manager, is trained in the Dupont Stop program, and keeps his OSHA 501 training current. He is active in the American Society of Safety Engineers. QUALITY EXPERIENCE Joe's quality career began in a paper mill in the 1980s. After five years at one location, he was asked to help company facilities across the country with problem solving and use of statistical methods. Joe served as quality manager for several printing companies and as Quality Engineer in a paper mill. He is active with American Society for Quality, teaches seminars on "Lean", writes procedures for quality manuals and provides problem solving assistance to teams. Having served two years on the Board of Examiners for the Texas Awards for Performance Excellence, Joe has become skilled at strategic planning and deployment. Mr. Eudy has worked for manufacturing companies for 20 years and has learned what approaches work best. He has held numerous positions of responsibility including plant manager, production manager, Engineer, trainer, safety manager and quality manager for printing and pulp & paper companies. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, is an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality & Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE), Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and has served on the board of examiners for the Texas Award for Performance Excellence. Joe an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor, and a Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO for General Industry) through the OSHA Training Institute Southwest Training Center. |
